Orders & Shipping
How long until my order is shipped?
Orders placed before 1PM are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 1PM are dispatched the following business day. Every order is hand-packed before it leaves.
How long will delivery take?
Once dispatched, delivery times are in Australia Post's hands. Standard shipping typically takes 2-6 business days depending on location. Express is generally 1-3 business days. A tracking number will be emailed once dispatched. Full shipping detail is available under Shipping & Returns in the footer.
Is international shipping available?
Not at this stage. Profound Naturals ships within Australia only.
Returns & Refunds
How do I return a product or request a refund?
Email hello@profoundnaturals.com.au with your order number, the product name, a description of the issue, and a photo or video showing the fault. If the return is applicable under Australian Consumer Law, it will be processed promptly. Change-of-mind returns cannot be accepted. Refunds are issued for faulty products - for example, a defective spray head or damaged packaging on arrival.
Products
Are your essential oils 100% pure?
Absolutely. Every essential oil sold is 100% pure and undiluted - no carrier oils, no fillers, no synthetic additions. A simple way to verify purity at home is the paper droplet test - a quick internet search will show you how.
Are all products 100% natural?
Most are entirely natural. The exception is the alcohol-based botanical perfumes and colognes, which contain a very small amount (as low as 0.05%) of synthetic denaturant in the ethanol. This is a legal requirement under Australian regulations - ethanol sold outside of the food and beverage industry must include a denaturant to prevent oral consumption. Everything else in the formula is pure botanical.
Do you offer free samples?
Scent samples on paper strips are available free of charge - however shipping is not covered. Small 3ml testers are also available as part of smell tester kits sold on the website.
Workshops
How do I book a perfume or cologne making workshop?
Workshop booking details will be available through the dedicated booking tab on the website. Follow the prompts to select a date and secure your spot. If you have a specific enquiry in the meantime, email hello@profoundnaturals.com.au.
What do the workshops include?
A mix of theory and practical hands-on blending. Topics covered include the nature of scent blending, fragrance levels and note structures, scent strengths, chemical safety of natural components, and extraction methods used to produce pure oil concentrates. Participants leave with a real understanding of perfumery - not just a formula.
Are workshops suitable for children?
Workshops for children aged 8 and above can be organised. A parent or guardian must provide written consent and be present for the full duration of any workshop involving children.
